In 2012, Valerie McKeehan was a newlywed, creating a "McKeehan's Cafe" sign for her own kitchen when she discovered how much she loved creating chalk art and started an Etsy shop called Lily & Val. The 115th Annual Christmas Bird Count

The National Audubon Society coordinates the Christmas Bird Count each year during this season. The Christmas Bird Count is a census of birds in the Western Hemisphere, by volunteer birdwatchers. From the Audubon website, "The 115th Christmas Bird Count begins on Sunday, December 14th, 2014, and runs through Monday, January 5th, 2015.
