Oscar came to us from a friend who found him on her farm. When she brought him to me he was severly malnurioused, infested with fleas and had worms from drinking stayl water. After nursing him back to health with the help of our vet, oscar settled right in with our other cats. We had to name him so my 4 year old granddaughter wanted to name him "Hotdog" after her favorite food. I asked her," How about Oscar?". She agreed and that's how he got his name. About November Oscar was outside enjoying the fresh air and sun with his best kitty friend Tabby, whom we rescued from a crack house after it was raided, someone came into my yard or, it could be since Oscar is or was so friendly he could of went to them, someone kicked him so hard they broke his knee cap on his right leg. We had no choice but to put him down or amputate the leg. Well I am happy to say Oscar has adapted and is running with his best friend Tabby.
Congratulations, Oscar! You're this week's Page-A-Day® Cat Photo Contest winner.
