If the work is partially completed, send what is available along with a letter or outline detailing what else will be included. Text should be typed, though captions may be handwritten as long as they are legible. If the project contains or consists primarily of artwork, please send photocopies or other reproductions. We prefer that you do not send us original art or manuscript. Copies are acceptable; we will contact you if we need to see the originals. This procedure is your guarantee against any possible loss of valuable material. Please be sure that your name, address, and telephone number are on the manuscript, and that your name is on the back of each piece of art--unless the pages are all securely fastened together, in which case it need only appear on the first page.
