Pups Allegra (a poodle and terrier mix) and Dali (French bulldog) found happy homes in the Jackman household in sunny Sydney, Australia. They’re currently repping gear for Jackman’s musical show, The Man. The Music. The Show.

Allegra was an early Christmas present to Jackman in 2014, though it remains a mystery (to us at least) who gifted the pup.

Dali was bought from a pet store by Jackman, his wife Deborra-Lee Furness, and their son Oscar during a trip to New York. Deborra-Lee Furness gave this story to People when asked about Dali’s name: “My son, [Oscar], is an artist, and his favorite artist is Salvador Dali, Jackman’s wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, told PEOPLE last year. “Because of the way [the dog’s] mouth curls, he looks like [surrealist artist] Salvador Dali with a mustache.”

Jackman has admitted to Skyping with his dogs while he’s on the road, which is probably the cutest thing we’ve heard all day. He also refers to Dali as “chief of staff” and chairman of the board.
